Shipmanagement under the Rohden flag started in 1959 by Cpt. Gerhard Rohden.
Upto 23 vessels were managed during the last years; a fleet of bulkers, general cargo vessels and container ships.
Answering the development of the S&P markets several ships were sold at good prices displaying the market but also the well maintained ships by Rohden.
Some of them were left by the new Owners under the management of Rohden.
Today the actual fleet consists of 10 vessels being bulkers, general cargo and container ships. Projects for several bulkers and containers ships being delivered to Rohden within the next two years are under progress.
Today the management is headed by Mrs. Gerda Rohden, taking special care of the projects and having a close eye on the chartering and operational side. The technical and the crewing side is headed by Mr. Ralf Meuschke, the financing is headed by Mr. Jörg Mauß.
Cpt. Gerhard Rohden is still available for the ship- and the office crew for advise and help.
